A Boundary Survey is the establishment of the legal limits of a property. It involves both research into the property title, deposited plans and current survey information of the area, and a site survey pin pointing the exact boundaries of a property and marking them with boundary markers.

Being a legally binding document, a Boundary Survey must be signed by a Registered Surveyor.

A Survey and Report showing all structures on the property in relation to the boundaries and any encroachments.

Identification Survey show the location of all existing structures on a property, like buildings, sheds, pools, fences, driveways and trees, and any improvements to the property, all in relation to their distance from the boundaries. These surveys also show, and explain in an accompanying report, any encroachments over the boundaries and any easements, covenants or ‘restrictions on the use of the land' that affect the property.
